Liebe Ist... totally has gotten me, this morning. Stephan Bodzin has made a new standard in my minimal techno thinking. All those fantastic beats and great finesse absolutely blew me away. I love how the tension increases in Turbine and find static melody in tech-house-like Mondfahrt awesome.

Narcotic hardcore from one of the best bands in the genre - Today Is The Day. Similarly heavy to their Temple of the Morning Star and having somehow dubby sound just like on Sadness Will Prevail. Plus a few very fast grindcore elements. Fantastic!

Very good heavily-death-influenced metalcore with lots of awesome breakdowns (yea, that's why I like deathcore). Plus it got a very recognizable (for metalcores ;d) song, In Dying Days (pretty nice, I have to admit):

Rusko - Essentials Mix Radio1 12/13/2008

Recently, I'm totally keen on dubstep. Yeah. And, for God's sake, I've discovered the Rusko Essentials Mix (12/13/2008) just few days ago. And it's absolutely GENIOUS! Almost two hours of the craziest massive dubstep you've ever heard. Crashing basslines, big tunes, ow jeez, that drives me mad!

Hey, that's the new Little Boots album. Great electropop with some nice melodies (New In Town or Mathematics. A bit disappointing, though, but just a bit.

Why disappointing? After her awesome track Stuck on Repeat released in the last year, I thought the whole album was going to be that great. Just listen to the song here (it's not the worse, cropped Radio Edit version, the full one). Recently I got it... um, stuck on repeat, actually.

Inhale Exhale - Bury Me Alive [2009]

Genre: Metalcore

Tracklisting:
01. Rooms
02. Did You Ever Have a Touch to Lose?
03. Condemned
04. Over and Out
05. A Dark Place for Your Mind to Be
06. Intentions
07. Explosions
08. Fiction
09. Better Her Than Me
10. Thin Black Lines
11. An Era

This time - pure new-school metalcore. I find it pretty surprising, I didn't expect such a good thing. Bury Me Alive is a very solid record, a bit d-beat with lots of heavy breakdowns, actually quite similar to the Angelreich style. Got one of the best clean vocals I've ever heard in metalcore - not mawkish emo-like (Bullet for My Valentine? blaaaarh) - they sound like they should sound in this kind of heavy music. Recommended!

Nile - Those Whom The Gods Detest [2009]

Genre: Technical Death Metal

Tracklisting:
1. Kafir!
2. Hittite Dung Incantation
3. Utterances of the Crawling Dead
4. Those Whom the Gods Detest
5. 4th Arra of Dagon
6. Permitting the Noble Dead to Descend to the Underworld
7. Yezd Desert Ghul Ritual in the Abandoned Towers of Silence
8. Kem Khefa Kheshef
9. The Eye of Ra
10. Iskander D'hul Karnon

Some ultra-brutal-tech-math-death-metal stuff from the legend NILE - known mainly for great album In Their Darkened Shrines. Those Whom The Gods Detest features some world music elements making the album not monotonous and quite interesting. I appreciate the sound the Nile musicians achieved, pretty clear so that it doesn't sound like for example some underground demo.

Fuck Buttons - Tarot Sport [2009]

Genre: Neo-Psychedelia/Electronic/Drone/Noise/Minimal Techno

Tracklisting:
01. "Surf Solar"
02. "Rough Steez"
03. "The Lisbon Maru"
04. "Olympians"
05. "Phantom Limb"
06. "Space Mountain"
07. "Flight of the Feathered Serpent"

So far my favourite 2009 album. Listening to those joyful, carefree songs makes me feel like the happiest man on earth. Seems like the drone version of Merriweather Post Pavillion by Animal Collective - same psychedelic atmosphere, but all those noises and minimal techno beats make Tarot Sport totally different album. And, holy crap, song Surf Solar is one of the best things I've ever heard!

No Consequence - In the Shadow of Gods [2009]

Genre: Metalcore/Technical Thrash Metal/Deathcore

Tracklisting:
1. Ocular Gyro Crisis
2. The arrival of Predators

4. The Fallen
5. Age of Fear
6. Synaesthesia
7. Ashes
8. Longitudes
9. Latitudes
10. Shallow Be Thy Name
11. Inevitable Silence

Really good technical metalcore with some thrash metal riffs. Features many great mosh-slowdowns and breakdowns, and piggy growls as well, making the album pretty deathcore. Many tempo changes and chaotic stylistics proves that No Consequence are somehow progressive.
