MF DOOM (known as Victor Vaughn, King Geedorah, Madvillain) is certainly one of the most recognizable people of the underground hip hop scene. His, hm, let's say, intelligent (I mean not trivial) beats could be instrumental as well, and the album would still be very good. For example, Lightworks is actually J Dilla's beat from album Donuts. Happily, Born Like This doesn't have many instrumental, boring interludes, so that it's a really nice listen.
